Important dates for the 2025-2026 USWRA season

• September 1, 2025 – USWRA registration opens for teams, players, staff, referees and classifiers
• September 15, 2025 - Deadline for transferring players to send a written resignation letter to their former team of their intent to transfer
• September 30, 2025 - Membership dues and rosters considered delinquent if not postmarked
• October 15, 2025 - Deadline to roster international players on the initial team roster
• October 31, 2025 - Deadline for nominations to the USWRA Hall of Fame
• November 1, 2025 - Final deadline for submitting membership dues and avoiding postseason ineligibility
• December 7, 2025 - Deadline for players to meet the 2-game requirement for the first half of the 2025-2026 season for postseason eligibility
• December 15, 2025 - Deadline for final membership dues and intentions to add, substitute, or transfer a player to be eligible for postseason
• January 15, 2026 - Last day for teams to withdraw from the postseason without any penalty. To withdraw from the postseason an email needs to be sent to the USWRA commissioner at commissioner@uswra.org
• January 31, 2026 - Last day players to request a medical waiver for either the first or second half of the season. Any request should be sent directly to the commissioner at commissioner@uswra.org and include a doctor's note confirming the reason for the request.
• February 15, 2026 - Deadline for players to meet the 2-game requirement for the second half of the 2025-2026 season for postseason eligibility.
• February 17, 2026 (possibly earlier) – Competition committee sends out the Late Season USWRA rankings which will be used to set order teams select which semifinal tournament they choose to compete in.
• February 18, 2026 (possibly earlier) - Once the USWRA rankings are sent out the commissioner will be calling teams to select which semifinal they will be competing in
• February 26, 2026 - Date USWRA Annual Award nominations to be submitted by. The USWRA Annual Awards are:

• USWRA Spirit of Achievement Award
• USWRA Coach of the Year Award
• USWRA Developing Athlete of the Year Award
• USWRA Event of the Year Award

• To be determined - Date USWRA proposals to be submitted by.
• To be determined - Date for USWRA board nominations to be submitted by.   This year the President, Vice President1 & Secretary are to be voted on

• To be determined - Date USWRA proposals to be sent out to membership (2 months prior to USWRA AGM)
• Date for USWRA AGM – To be determined - Starts at noon east coast time
