USA Low Point Team Update

The USA Low Point Wheelchair Rugby Team—recently renamed USA Rampage—is set to compete in the 2025 Wheelchair Rugby Low Point Challenge, taking place October 24–26 in Nottwil, Switzerland. This prestigious tournament features elite low point wheelchair rugby teams from around the world. Teams expected to compete include:

  • Lowland Lowies (Netherlands)
  • Northern Lows (Finland/Sweden)
  • Munich Rugbears (Germany)
  • USA Rampage (USA)
  • Project Mayhem (Canada)
  • Prague Robots (Czech Republic)
  • Low Speedos (Germany)
  • Fighting Snakes (Switzerland)
  • Silent Lambs (Switzerland)
  • Austria (Austria)

As part of their preparation, USA Rampage recently completed a successful minicamp in Houston, Texas, showing strong chemistry and focus. They also plan to hold a final minicamp in Irving, Texas following the USWRA Low Point National Championships in September.

The USA Rampage roster includes:

  • Class 0.5s: Sebastian Broussard, Mike DeYoung, Liz Dunn (F), Joe Snyder
  • Class 1.0s: Daniel Ortiz, Brian Sperle, Nate Washington
  • Class 1.5s: Ryan Engelby, Paul Hopkins, Colton Parker
