Certification Requirements · Attend an Introductory clinic · Attend an Intermediate Clinic · Attend an Advanced Clinic
· Pass Level C written exam with 75% or higher · Pass Level B written exam with a score of 85% or higher · Pass the USWRRA physical test – Beep Test
· Pass court test by two officials of higher level · Pass USWRRA level B court test by two officials of higher level · Work at National Championships in division I
· Pass Level A written exam with a score of 90% or higher
· Pass USWRRA level A court test administered by two Aprobate level officials
Jurisdiction · Officiate Local Invitational tourney · All Level C · All Level B
· Early round Post-season (regionals and sectional) · Level of play at Division II level and Lower Level Division I · Level of play at Division I level
· Level of play at Division III or lower level Division II · Sectional Playoffs with ability to officiate cross over level · National Championship with ability to manage games at all levels
· Nationals at Division 2 level · Competent as referee 1 at all levels
· Competent as referee 1 in Division 2
Relevant Experience · Officiating experience from another sport is an asset but not a requirement · 2 years of officiating · 3 years of officiating
· At least post season tournament · Work National Championship level competition
Certification Maintenance · Work at least 10 games per year · Officiate at least 20 games per year · Work 25 games per year
· Pass Level C floor test every two years · Pass Level B floor test every two years · Work National Championships at least every two years
· Officiate at least one post season tourney every two years · Pass level A floor test every two year
· Pass the USWRRA physical test every two years
Conditions for Advancement · 1 year at the Regional level · Recommendation by Regional Area Contact · Recommendation by the USWRRA President/Head Official
· Recommendation by Regional Area Contact · Recommendation by one current member of the USWRRA board · Passing court evaluation at the division 1 level for 2 consecutive years
· At least one year at the Sectional Level · Officiate a semi-final or final of National Championship with a passing review
· Approval by a majority of USWRRA board members
· Ability to pass IWRF fitness test – Yoyo test
